With many significant recent wins, we are growing fast and need to expand our IT team with an experienced Network Systems Administrator.

The Network Systems Administrator will work closely with the IT Director to set the standard and guidelines for managing, maintaining, and supporting the Aras user base. The Network Systems Administrator will maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation and respond quickly to major issues and outages.

 What You’ll Do

  • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate network and systems in multiple locations
  • Install and support LANs, WLANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Install and maintain network hardware and software.
  • Ensure Network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Client-side networking and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to the definition of network policies, procedures and configurations to ensure a solid and productive computing environment
  • Contribute to the Server and Network hardware requirements and design solutions
  • Assist with building and supporting resilient, innovative, and scalable desktop, network, server, and mobile device environments to ensure optimal efficiency for users
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Windows Server Administration including Daily Operations and maintenance schedules
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Administration
  • Verify deployment of regular system patches, updates, and security fixes, and perform ongoing maintenance on Server and Network infrastructure devices across the organization
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service in providing in-person and phone support of all technology used by all members of the Aras user community
  • Track open issues through the use of the current Aras ticketing system.
  • Help in the administration of related systems including but not limited to Systems Center Configuration Manager, Active Directory, FTP Administration, and the Corporate Phone System.
  • Additional hours may be required for problem management and special projects, and maintenance.
  • Willing to assist in overall IT department needs if necessary



  • 7-10 years of experience managing and troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and printing issues.
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical work experience and certification
  • Hands on experience with Networking, routing, and switching
  • Hands on experience with Server Administration
  • Ability to set up and configure server and network hardware
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM back end administration
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and IP Networking experience
  • Experience with an Enterprise level Virus/Malware Software
  • Strong understanding of Windows computing environments
  • Experience supporting smartphones and other mobile computing devices
  • Familiarity with PBX and VoIP systems
  • Virtual Technology, specifically Hyper-V
  • Back End Administration with Office 365
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • PowerShell is a plus but not required
  • SAN Experience is a plus
  • Enjoy providing support, and have experience supporting networks, servers, and users onsite and remotely.
  • Ability to find technology workarounds to issues that cannot be resolved in a timely fashion
  • Strong customer service focus and attitude
  • Comfortable speaking one on one with all levels of the organization and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders who have varying degrees of comfort using technology
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting
  • Sound judgment, maturity, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong desire to learn new skills
  • Strong attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to lift equipment (approx. 30lbs.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
